THE PROJECT
Despite our obvious hardships, socially and politically, we're comprised of many beautiful and diverse nations. Within those nations are many vibrant souls – all carrying their own strengths, values and beliefs. People we look up to. People we admire. People we honour. Whether it's your brother, aunt, friend or neighbour, we all look to someone who inspires us to be better human beings. This project seeks to change perceptions forged by stereotype one image at a time.
NOMINATE SOMEONE
We're always on the lookout for new I am ... Indigenous subjects and you can help us by sending us their names.
We're looking for people that inspire you. Whether they're fantastic parents or incredible musicians and artists or wonderful story tellers, we want to know them and hopefully include them in our ongoing project.
Our criteria is simple:
1. it's someone you know (other then yourself)
2. they're indigenous
3. and they are truly wonderful
